I am enjoying it and following quite a lot. At UNIS we assigned a National Team to all the classes at the Middle School. They look for information about the countries, about the players and will watch a game with the students from another class. During the half-time we´ll share food from the represented countries.

I will talk about it later on, meanwhile I will write down my new words with relation to soccer that I have learned while watching some games.

hammer - chut muy fuerte, normalmente desde fuera del area.

crossbar - travesaño

post or pole - palo de la porteria

goalkeeper o goaly - portero

forward player o striker - delantero

midfielder - mediocampista

draw - empate

own goal - autogol

kick off - chut de incio del partido, también se refiere para la hora del inicio...

the underdog - el equipo que no es favorito, el que tiene menos posibilidades.

playmaker - organizador del juego, Xavi o Ronaldinho

Champion - Barça...
